[Super Mafia Land]

It's a really well-made game...

Although my computer pretty much went to hell on the second level, it was really terrible performance-wise. It wa a shame, it was looking to be a fantastic game, but I could barely get 5FPS out of it.

[Infinite Chamber]

Pretty good.

I must say, the idea is really good, that you get another obstacle per level you advance until they all built up on each other. I sometimes thought, however, that the physics was kinda screwing me over. The jumps just didn't feel right; you moved too fast and you decended oddly. Still, a nice game, great timewaster.

A very difficult game, but as an example of a physics engine, it's fantastic. Nice job!

Very good game.

The game itself was very good, I like the idea of puzzle/action games like this. In my opinion, this game was fairly near perfect. However, the grammar and spelling just ruined it a little.

[Eternal Red]

A classic defence game.

To be honest, this game isn't anything special. You build turrets and traps and let them do most of the work for you, the same as pretty much every defence game on NG. However, that said, it is still a very, very fun game. I lasted through to level 35 before I got bored. The music is very nice, and the sound effects are just perfect. However, I did have a quibble with the art; way too much red and way too much black. Now, I understand that red & black is the artist's style, but quite early on it just became a mess of explosions and sounds. Especially seeming as your crosshair is the exact same tone of red as most of the enemies, scenery and explosions in the game, I had no idea what I was shooting at most of the time.

Still, a very enjoyable game that has had a lot of effort put into it.

Nice idea, if a little flat

A nice little time-waster you made there. It's got great music, the gameplay is basic yet effective, and the graphics fit in well with the style. However, this, like many other high-score based games, just don't have that extra "whack" that other games have.

Still, a very good, effective game!

[Newgrounds Helpful Guide]

Very true.

I've seen a ton of "cool point" calculators over time, but never a quiz to find out how helpful you are for Newgrounds. This is a really fun, easy to understand test I enjoyed taking, plus the explanations at the end of the quiz helped a lot. The menus are very well-made; complex, yet easy to see and understand, and the questions are just the same. Some are not exactly trick questions, but you'll need to think twice before answering.

For next time, perhaps make it a little longer, or maybe have various grades for certain sections of Newgrounds (e.g. BBS, Flash & audio, reviews, etc)

Actually very good fun!

I really liked playing this. The powerups were a very handy addition, and became invaluable at times. I also loved the little comments the helicopter came up with, nice little quips at the player. However, the reason this gets an eight is because, at the later stages, I simply followed the chopper with my mouse and repeatedly clicked while watching my score go up. Still, a nice, if somewhat short-lived, game!

And you've gotta love "This Way".

[James The Space Zebra]

Probably my favourite James game.

It's nice and basic, but really fun to play. I absolutely love the music featured; it just goes so well with the gameplay. I sometimes feel that the random placement of all the asteriods can be a bit unfair at certain times, but I guess that's all part of the fun.

Can't wait to see more of James!

Totally random, but strangely addicting.

To be honest, I'm never a fan of games based around high-scores (maybe because I suck ;)), but this is very good fun. The graphics are well done, the sounds suit the actions well, and the music is very good indeed.
